Meridian is a fitness data aggregation and coaching tool operated by FIELD.IO. This privacy policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

Information We Collect

Account Information

When you sign in with Google or GitHub, we receive:

• Your email address
• Your name
• Your profile picture URL

Fitness Data

When you connect fitness services, we sync and store:

• Strava: Activities, GPS routes, heart rate, power, and performance metrics
• WHOOP: Recovery scores, strain, sleep data, and HRV measurements

This data is stored securely and used solely to provide you with training insights and coaching.

Conversations

If you use the AI coaching feature, your conversations are stored to provide context for future coaching sessions. You can delete your conversation history at any time.

How We Use Your Data

Your data is used to:

• Display your fitness activities and metrics
• Calculate training load, fitness, and recovery trends
• Provide AI-powered coaching and insights
• Sync your data across devices

We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for advertising purposes.

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in secure cloud databases with encryption at rest and in transit. Access tokens for connected services (Strava, WHOOP) are encrypted and stored securely.

Third-Party Services

Meridian integrates with:

• Strava API: To sync your cycling, running, and other activities
• WHOOP API: To sync recovery and strain data
• Anthropic Claude: To power AI coaching features

Each of these services has their own privacy policy. We only request the minimum permissions needed to provide our services.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access: View all data we have stored about you
• Delete: Request deletion of your account and all associated data
• Disconnect: Revoke access to connected fitness services at any time
• Export: Request a copy of your data in a portable format

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete all your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal purposes.

Children's Privacy
